About us
You will find Krook & Tjäder's architectural office in Halmstad in the city's old poor house, a signature building at Lilla Torg. Located on two floors is our tight-knit team with strong roots in Halland and northwestern Skåne.
Our main areas of work are comprehensive and strategic planning, detailed development plans, urban design, residential, commercial offices, logistics/trade and education. We also provide project management, construction management, quality assurance and Bas-P (building work environment coordinator). We offer a broad range of competencies in all sectors. We also carry out daylight calculations, social impact analyses, child impact analyses, climate calculations in the early stages, climate declarations and facilitate dialogue processes and workshops.
We at Krook & Tjäder in Halmstad work with both private and public clients and have extensive experience in multi-faceted projects in different scopes and stages regarding both new construction, reconstruction and renovation.
As stakeholders in our projects we see the social benefits we create and manage as a strong driving force. We shape and develop new environments and structures but also have a strong focus on management of the existing environment. Our competencies include creative design linked to a largersocietal perspective. This includes a focus on the human influence on space and context, as well as insight and understanding of what creates value in a long term perspective.
